The University and Study Tours module helps our students to find out more about admissions and applications at the universities they are visiting.

Each visit lasts for two to three hours and may include admission talks (normally by an international officer or student liaison officer), a tour around the university (guided by a current student) and sometimes a subject taster session (given by one of the university’s academic staff).

These visits may include Cambridge, Oxford, LSE, Imperial, UCL, Bristol and Bath, Nottingham and Loughborough, depending upon availability and appropriateness with regard to our students’ backgrounds and aspirations.

One of our students, Terence decided to apply to Imperial College and Bristol University after visiting both universities during the summer programme of 2017. We are pleased that he is currently studying Aerospace Engineering at Imperial College, London.

“The International Officer at Bath explained to us why it is important to look beyond university ranking and investigate the differences between universities for the same degree…for example, some are more practical, whereas others focus more on theory…” Feedback from Alina, summer 2017
